Sunju: Ranbir Kapoor fascinates as Sanjay Dutt

Rajkumar Hirani’s film “Sanju†is a brilliant and very intense reality story in the biopic of Indian Cinema Actor Mr. Sanjay Dutt. Presenting the biopic on a man with so many glimpses in life and one who's lived a life of such extremes is creatively exposed in theoretical way. Hirani, in his signature style, takes audience in cinema hall through Sanjay Dull's remarkable journey with the sensitivity and vow it needs. Sanjay Dull since teenage to few years of adulteries had lived as the king of bad choices, and Hirani's idea of making a film on his life has certainly paid off. Yes, there’s a lot missing, but even then, this is still an incredible story of a Sanju’s man and a movie star who made massive mistakes, walked through fire, survived it and lived one heck of a life.
With Sanjay Dutt whose character role played by Ranbir Kapoor changed his personality into stylist gangman kind who wanted a writer for his biography before going into prison, as Sanju has surrender himself to the Supreme Court's judgement in the Arms Act case due to passion of AK 47 Gun and his bullets. In Initial Face where writer failed and unhappily due to proper scripting, so Sanju’s wife Maanyata played by Dia Mirza found out writer Winnie whose fascinating role played by Anushka Sharma initiated to write Sanju’s biography. Sanju declarations and remembrances in back of four decades intimated Winnie to find out facts and realities with deep insights into the highs and lows of Sanju’s life with drugs, womanizers, clubs, dosti and dusmanies etc . The strong story of an unbreakable bond between a father, son and a best friend focus on very nicely displayed in film. In fact, Sanjay’s relationship with his father Sunil Dutt who played by notable actor of Indian Cinema Mr.Paresh Rawal, whose emotional role play formed the major part of this story and some of the most heart spraining and touching moments in the film with character role played by Manisha Koirala as Nargis Dutt who was Sanju’s mother and scenes between the father, mother and son move you to tears. Dia Mirza as Maanyata Sanjay Dutt’s wife has left strong presence is felt right throughout the film, but his previous marriages have been completely left out of the narrative.
Sanju’s best friend Kamlesh played by Vicky Kaushal has the most important characters in the Sanju’s story and he made solid impact. Even the first wife and the birth of his first child, daughter Trishala doesn’t feature in this heart-rending story. The absence of these aspects of Sanju’s life leave the viewer craving for a tad bit more. The first half is extremely gripping, with Sanju struggling with his inner demons. The second half is spent on elaborating his court cases and it reiterates the thought that he’s not a terrorist. The fact that Sanjay Dutt’s real life presents great material for a story on celluloid is unquestionable. Hirani beautifully taps into some deep emotions that keeps the audience drawn to the screen. Even though the film feels long, the film industry nostalgia and the many references to old Hindi film music keep you hooked on.
The talented actor, Ranbir Kapoor as an incredible actor who fills Sanjay Dutt’s role with seriousness and theoretical drama expected as the best as Sanjay Dutt. Ranbir Kapoor delivered the central character's swag and calmness, Whether dancing like a hysterical man, with bloodshot eyes under the influence of drugs or heart broken, emotional portrayed at variety of chapters on screen. Ranbir Kapoor’s One of the finest performances in “Sanju†film and predict6ed to be award winning performance for sure. Vicky Kaushal who stands tall and pulls off a superb act as Sanju’s best friend.
Music Composers holds the audience with background scores and songs sound in critics moments calm the audience.
The drugs suffused phase of Sanju’s life is the most impressive and it has been portrayed with the right amount of sensitivity.
