Lok Sabha adjourned sine die

New Delhi, Aug 10: Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Friday adjourned the house sine die at the conclusion of its monsoon session.

Mahajan said the Lower House members sat for over 20 hours beyond the scheduled time to finish the listed business.

The house had 17 sittings during the monsoon session of Parliament, which began on July 18
