Indian youth dies in shooting in Cincinnati

An Indian -- Pruthvi Raj Kandepi, 25--was among the three victims of the shoot out in Cincinnati, Ohio, earlier today (Thursday), officials confirmed. Others are Richard Newcomer 64, and Luis Felipe Calderón 48.
The 29-year old gunman Omar Enrique Santa Perez from the town of North Bend, Ohio, was also killed.
Lakshmi Kode Sammarco, the Coroner of Hamilton County, who released the names of the dead wrote on Facebook, ‘It’s with tears in my eyes that I have to post such a tragic notice in my own hometown! One of the victims was an Indian gentleman I met at the Hindu temple of Cincinnati. How do you tell parents who live 10000 miles away that they will never see their son again because of a senseless shooting in a foreign country?
RIP gentlemen may your memory live long.’
Two people were injured in the shooting which occurred at the Fifth Third Center in Cincinnati's Fountain Square. The suspect was shot multiple times as four police officers approached. He died at the scene, Cincinnati police Chief Eliot Isaac said. The gunman had a pistol and more than 200 rounds of ammunition, the chief said.
Investigators searched the gunman's residence but there was no immediate indicator of motive, according to CNN.
He wasn't a current or former employee at the center, whose primary tenant is the Fifth Third Bank headquarters, officials said.
