OPEC crude basket rises to $76.02
Vienna, Sep 12: The basket of crude oil used as a benchmark indicator by the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries increased to $76.02, the OPEC Secretariat said here on Wednesday.
The OPEC said the price of its basket went up by $0.82 on Tuesday, compared with the closing price at the previous session, Efe news reported.
The November delivery of Brent crude opened at $79.44 per barrel at the start of Wednesday's trading on the futures market, a 0.44 per cent increase since the previous session's close.
