Pakistan to invite Modi for Saarc Summit

Islamabad, Nov 27: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be invited to Pakistan for the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) Summit, a senior Pakistani official said on Tuesday.
Foreign Office spokesman Mohammad Faisal said this while addressing a conference on Kashmir here, the Dawn reported.
The 19th summit of Saarc, which was to be held in Pakistan in 2016, was cancelled after India boycotted the event, causing Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Bhutan to also pull out.
