Afghan forces kill 26 militants
Ghazni (Afghanistan), Nov 28: Up to 26 militants have been killed and more than 20 others injured as troops, backed by air force, targeted Taliban hideouts in Afghanistan's eastern province of Ghazni, the Army said on Wednesday.
The government forces have been targeting Taliban hideouts in Andar, Gilan, Qarabagh districts as well as in villages outside the provincial capital of Ghazni city since Tuesday, Xinhua news agency reported.
A large quantity of arms and ammunition of the militants have been destroyed, an Army statement added.
