Halep to play in Sydney International
Canberra, Dec 3: World number one Simona Halep is ready to play in the Sydney International, which will take place in January 2019, according to the organisers.
Eight of the world's top 10 have signed on for the tennis tournament except Caroline Wozniacki and Elina Svitolina, reports Xinhua news agency.
"I'm delighted that so many of the world's most talented players have chosen to come to Sydney in January," said tournament director Lawrence Robertson.
