Sensex drops 500 points, Nifty at 10,623
Mumbai, Dec 6: The S&P BSE Sensex dropped over 500 points during the afternoon session of the trade on Thursday.
All the sectoral indices on the BSE and NSE traded in the red.
At 2.54 p.m., the S&P BSE Sensex traded 500.83 points lower or 1.40 per cent at 35,383.58 from its previous close of 35,884.41.
It touched an intra-day high of 35,707.23 and a low of 35,355.70 so far.
The NSE's Nifty50 traded 164.70 points or 1.53 per cent lower at 10,618.20.
