Fun times with Ranveer Singh in TMKOC

Ranveer Singh brought a different level of energy to Gokuldham Society when he came to promote his film Simmba. And he encountered a very different Gokuldhamites because all had come to their party organized by Tapu sena. What had happened is that post Gada electronic’s fiasco and stress, Tapu Sena had decided to entertain all with new year party. And rule of the party was that all had to dress up exactly as they used to dress during their college days.

Ranveer was brought in as a surprise element by inspector Chalu Pandey as a special officer on duty. Chalu Pandey had come to the society to search for stolen Gold and he did find it in the society. Later he put blindfold on all the members of Gokuldham society telling them that this new officer will check each member & if he finds that they are innocent, he will remove the blindfold. And once society members realize that this new inspector is actor Ranveer Singh they all have loads of fun. Ranveer insisted on doing Garba in new year party, because all the film celebrities coming in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ definitely do garba.

Started on 28th July 2008, TMKOC is the story of India depicted through its Gokuldham Society wherein people from different states and castes and religion stay together as one family.
