Kumar Rajesh Chandra appointed SSB DG

New Delhi, Jan 8: Kumar Rajesh Chandra, an IPS officer of the 1985 batch was on Tuesday appointed as the Director General of the (DG) Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

"The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Kumar Rajesh Chandra, IPS (BH:85), presently working as DG, BCAS to the post of DG, SSB from the date of joining of the post and upto 31.12.2021 i.e. date of his retirement on superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier," an official statement said.

Chandra will succeed S.S. Deswal.
