Chicago Telugu Association helps feed hungry children

Chicago, IL: Chicago Telugu Association (CTA) successfully conducted packing of meals for malnourished poor children at Feed My Starving Children at North Central College, Naperville, Illinois, USA. About 175 volunteers on a very cold evening gathered in Chicago to help FMSC prepare and pack the food for hungry children in the world under Feed My Hungry Children.

The CTA team led by President Nagendra Vege helped FMSC in packing on the day 285,000 meals which will serve 785 kids in Dominican Republic for one year. The event was coordinated and lead by President Nagendra Vege, CTA Founding members Ravi Achanta, Praveen Moturu, Seshu Uppalapati, Rao Achanta and core members Bhushan Beemsetty, Deva Subramaniam, Venu Uppalapati, Fareed Khan, Harish Jannu, Adil Ahmed, Bala Choda, Mohammed Rehman, Bhargav Kavuri, Kalyan karumuri, pavan naramreddy, Surya Garde, Bhanu Soma, Vijay Babu Krishnamurthy, Raghu Reddy, Murali Parmi, Rahul Viratapu and Krishna Rangaraju.

Women members of CTA, Rani Vege, Bhavani Saraswati, Mounika Chebrolu, Madhavi Tippisetty, Tanuja Sajja, Sudha Kunchanapalli, Sujana Achanta, Madhavi Achanta, Poornima, Kavitha, and Srilakshmi Mandava helped in successfully conducting the event.

Speaking on the occasion of Mr. Ravi Achanta, Mr. Praveen Moturu and Mr. Nagendra Vege congratulated the team and commended their participation. Feed My Hungry Children appreciated Chicago Telugu Association for their continued support for many years. For CTA this is the largest food charity event in 5 years.

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit organization committed to feeding children hungry in body and spirit. Volunteer’s hand-pack meals specially formulated for malnourished children, and we send them to partners around the world where they're used to operate orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty.

FMSC thanked CTA volunteers for their generosity to help poor children across world.
