Candidates forum in Streamwood, Il

Streamwood, IL: Several candidates from various local elections participated at the meet the candidates program held at Lazzat Banquets in Streamwood, Illinois, last week including Nafees Rahman, candidate for Village of Schaumburg President, and Nazneen Hashmi, candidate for the Elgin Community College Board.
Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White, State Representative Fred Crespo, Streamwood Park District Vice President Raees Yawar, Streamwood library Trustee Asad Khan Community Relations Member Amin Haider, and Community Leader Moon Khan attended the event to show their support for the contestants.
Farooq Patel, Khurram Syed, Nasir Jahangir, Dr. Baseer Qazi, Kaleem Rahim, Noman Khan, Basith Khan, and Viqar Qureshi helped organize the event.
All candidates were grateful for the event and expected the wave of support would continue to grow till the election day on April 2.
