IABC business summit salutes Consul General Neeta Bhushan

Chicago IL: The Indian Consulate and Indian American Business Council [IABC] organized the Spring Summit with a focus on ‘Indo U.S. Business in Digital Age’ to highlight India’s new initiatives and business, at the consulate, Feb 29.

Several corporate, business, and community leaders deliberated on ways to augment bilateral opportunities. The event also highlighted the illustrious stewardship of Consul General Smt. Neeta Bhushan and was accorded her a heartfelt ‘Business Community Salute’ for advancing and providing platforms to facilitate robust business and trade exchanges between India and the United States.

IABC founding president Harish Kolasani in his remarks welcomed the gathering; while IABC’s Director Keerthi Kumar Ravoori and Vasavi Chakka presided over the event as Moderators. Dr. Vijay Prabhakar, chairman of Multi Ethnic American Task Force [MEATF] took the lead to honor Consul General Smt. Bhushan. Laura Ortega, director of Illinois Chamber of Commerce, Prakasham Tata from US India Chamber of Commerce and FIA’s Executive Vice President Ajeet Singh presented a memento honoring her work as consul general for the last two and half years.
