Sherin Mathews murder trial starts on June 24;

Dallas prosecutors would tell a jury about potential crimes and wrong acts during the capital murder trial for Wesley Mathews, father of 3-year old Sherin Mathews, who was found dead in a Richardson culvert in 2017, according to Dallas Morning News.
The trial is scheduled to begin June 24. He faces an automatic life sentence if convicted of capital murder.
Prosecutors would point out about a broken leg that wasn't reported for a week, deleted messages and computer files, lies to law enforcement and canceled medical appointments.
Wesley Mathews broke Sherin's arm and leg about Feb. 1, 2017, prosecutors would tell. Mathews either injured his daughter alone or with the help of his wife, Sini Mathews, according to court documents.
Wesley Mathews, 39, ‘acting alone or with Sini Mathews caused injury to Sherin Mathews resulting in fractures to the bilateral humerus, femur and tibia,’ the records say. ‘Defendant and Sini Mathews did not disclose these injuries for at least one week. The history provided to doctors was not consistent with how the injuries occurred.’
The court record, filed this week in Dallas County, alleges Wesley Mathews ‘ailed to keep a scheduled appointment with the Failure to Thrive Clinic’for Sherin. He also canceled 19 physical therapy appointments and eight speech therapy appointments for his daughter. Sherin also didn't show up for four appointments that weren't canceled.
All internet history and a file called Sherin log were deleted from the Mathewses' computer after her disappearance, court records show.
‘ significant amount of messages and content were deleted from the defendant's cell phone seized by the Richardson Police Department,’ court records say. All communications between Wesley and Sini Mathews were deleted on said cell phone.
Wesley Mathews also provided false and misleading information to the Richardson Police Department.
