Triple Talaq bill tabled in Lok Sabha

New Delhi, June 21: A bill banning Triple Talaq was tabled in the Lok Sabha on Friday.

The bill, tabled by Union Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, will outlaw the practice of instant Triple Talaq.

"People elected us to make laws and it is our duty to do so. Law is to give justice to the victims of Triple Talaq," the Minister said.
