Will discuss CWC meeting date: Motilal Vora
New Delhi, July 4 Amid a leadership crisis in the Congress, senior leader Motilal Vora on Thursday said he will check with General Secretary K.C. Venugopal for possible dates of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting.
Asked who will lead the party as the interim chief following Rahul Gandhi's resignation as Congress President, Vora said: "I will check whether the seniority will de decided on the basis of age or tenure."
Vora's remarks came a day after Rahul Gandhi formally announced his resignation as the party chief, owning responsibility for the Congress rout in the Lok Sabha elections.
