SARC joined the Montclair Republican Club and the Essex County Women Republicans
South Asian Republican Coalition – on Thursday, the SARC joined the Montclair Republican Club and the Essex County Women Republicans
in one of America's largest Independence Day parades in New Jersey.
Hemant Bhatt, Founder and Chairman of SARC, joined by several core members including Neeta Ramekar, Brajesh Singh, Sujit Sukumaran, and Paul Lund helped distribute pocket copies of the U.S. Constitution to youths and their parents to provide “summer reading” that might help them connect with the foundation of American exceptionalism!
Hirsh Singh, running on Republican ticket for US Senate against the Democrats' sitting Senator and Presidential wannabe, Cory Booker, also participated alongside the SARC team of patriots.
Our presence in Montclair was a strategic part of our ongoing mission to reach out to communities that have yet to connect with the values that we, as Republicans and staunch Conservatives stand for, and to demonstrate the love, respect and appreciation for the country that has given us so much towards the pursuit of our American dreams!
In this, SARC acknowledges and echoes the voice of President Trump who opened his celebration of America’s Birthday with "As we gather this evening, in the joy of freedom, we remember that we all share a truly extraordinary heritage. Together we are part of one of the greatest stories ever told, the story of America."
SARC, A New Face in American Patriotism, is on a mission to engineer a major political awakening and grass roots movement toward the Republican Party among the roughly 22.8 million South Asian Americans living in the United States of America. SARC can be contacted by sending an email at info@sarcusa.org and visiting its web site sarcusa.org.
