Punjabi’s have always been impartial : Tewari

Bensalem,Pennsylvania (USA), September 24 : Hon. Manish Tewari (MP, Sri Anandpur Sahib) said that Punjabis have always displayed an unbiased approach towards different religious beliefs. Tewari was addressing a meeting organised by Gurmeet S.Gill President Indian overseas Congress (Punjab Chapter USA) at Shagun Palace, Bensalem,Pennsylvania during his visit to USA. Tewari said that when we do not acknowledge Indian political talks on foreign lands unlike PM Modi who leaves no chance to condemn about other opposition parties, “Congress has always been in favour of religious equality”. Tewari said inspite of his Hindu religion, he got elected from a land of birth of Khalsa Panth Sri Anandpur Sahib. Tewari said, “ Punjabis have always displayed their unbiased nature, be it Ludhiana or Sri Anandpur Sahib, their major priority is humanity and not religious discrimination.”

PLIDB Chairman Pawan Dewan said that Punjabis have portrayed a pivotal role in the development of foreign countries. Further Dewan appealed to NRI Community to contribute for the development of various schools, colleges and hospitals of their native land Punjab.

MohinderSingh gilzian , President, IOC USA said he has established chapters of IOC in USA, so that people of different communities feel them united with the Congress party.

Gurmeet Gill gave a hearty welcome to MP Tewari and said that the only party which works for development of people selflessly is Congress Party. Further he said that NRI Community is always besides Congress Party.
