Markets open in the red on Wednesday
Mumbai, Oct 23: The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a negative note during the morning session of the trade.
The Sensex of the BSE opened at 39,063.84 points, which was also the high point. It touched a low of 38,880.05 points.
The Sensex had closed at 38,963.84 points on Tuesday.
It is trading at 38,925.64 down by 38.20 points or 0.10 per cent.
On the other hand, the broader 50-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 11,596.20 points after closing at 11,588.35 points.
The Nifty is trading at 11,596.20 points at present.
