The book “Selfie of Success” replete with shining illustrations that highlights the 360 degrees holistic view of success was widely acclaimed at the book launching ceremony in Chicago. Author Venkatesham Burra, IAS in his overview delineated the essential elements and the nuances of success, the philosophy of success, synergy of success, stories & illustrations of success and how each element led to the building up of success adding real life examples of history of people.

Author Venkatesham Burra was in Chicago to receive a Global Oscars “Author of the Year” award at the American Multi Ethnic Coalition gala held in Chicago along with several global dignitaries including Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and many others. The award was presented in honor of his distinguished work as an author in authoring a book that is characterized as a guiding light to people determined to embark on a journey that leads towards success; providing remarkable direction to those who passionately seek to pursue, preserve and sustain success.

Venkatesham Burra, IAS presented a copy of the book to United States Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, Consul General of India Mr. Sudhakar Dalela, Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Shri. O. Paneerselvam, Member of Parliament Sri. O Raveendranathan Kumar and many other dignitaries. His book received glowing admiration from the elected officials and the dignitaries.

Author B. Venkatesham, IAS serves as Secretary to the Government of Telangana presiding over important portfolios including Tourism, Sports, Culture, Youth and Welfare. In spite of his monumental responsibilities in his role as the Secretary, Mr. Venkatesham devoted every awakening moments in his free time in researching the pivotal elements of success. Venkatesham Burra emphasized that success is a journey and not a destination. He said Success is an external manifestation of inner desire. In the epilogue, Venkatesham Burra clearly outlines the distinction between success and happiness and happiness is not necessarily an essential component of success.
