Microsoft will skip the Game Developers' Conference
San Francisco, Feb 28 After Facebook cancelled its prestigious F8 Developer Conference in San Jose in May, Microsoft has now announced it will skip the Game Developers' Conference (GDC) scheduled to be held here from March 16 to 20, owing to the coronavirus concerns.
"After a close review of guidance by global health authorities and out of an abundance of caution, we've made the difficult decision to withdraw from participating at Game Developers Conference 2020 in San Francisco," the company said on its Game Stack Blog on Thursday.
