ICF calls for EoI from ventilator makers
Chennai, April 2
With the Indian Railways looking to augment the supply of ventilators to meet a spurt in demand amid the coronavirus scare in the country, the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) here has called for Expression of Interest from manufacturers for a collaborative venture.
The last date for submission of EoI is April 5, 2020.
The ICF is exploring the possibility of collaborating with established ventilator makers by offering its component manufacturing and assembly capacity to ramp up ventilator production to meet any increased demand in future.
The ICF at Perambur rolls out high-tech trains like Vande Bharat Express and coaches.
