Trump, Imran Khan discuss regional security issues
New York, April 22
US President Donald Trump has discussed regional security with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, the White House said on Wednesday.
During their conversation on Wednesday, they also discussed "developments in the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and agreed to continue working together" to defeat the virus and minimise its economic impact, the White House said.
Pakistan had 10,776 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections with 212 deaths as of Wednesday morning, according to Johns Hopkins University's Center for Systems Science and Engineering tracking of the pandemic.
