Odisha reports 9th corona death
Bhubaneswar, June 7 Odisha on Sunday reported ninth coronavirus death as a 55-year-old male patient from Ganjam district succumbed to the infection, the Health Department said.
The patient was suffering from tuberculosis and other comorbidities.
Of the 9 fatalities so far, four were from Ganjam, four from Khurdha, and one from Cuttack.
With the detection of 75 new cases in the last 24 hours, total positive cases have increased to 2,856 in the state.
While 72 new cases were reported from quarantine centres, three were in other areas.
