America
Why would I vote for Trump ? (Tom Kolath George)

In the past, I voted and supported the Democratic party, but after closely monitoring the leadership and policy decisions architected and orchestrated by President Obama’s actions and inactions, I made the decision to vote for future political candidates based exclusively on their policy positions rather than focusing on a political party and its optics, which are filled with virtue signaling.
Trump’s primary goal from the day he took the oath of office until this very day has been “America First†and for that, I could not be prouder for casting my vote for Donald J. Trump in 2016.
As the Founder and CEO of an independent Accounting & Wealth Management company for the past quarter of a century in New York City, I’ve had to see my clients cry in my office – they were unable to afford the penalty for not having Obamacare Health insurance. Some of them couldn’t afford a monthly premium of $1200.00 and if their tax refund was $1600, the Federal Government would take away $1500 as the penalty for not having health insurance coverage.
Fortunately for our great country, Donald J. Trump was elected President in 2016 and he fixed a lot of things that have been broken for far too long.
As a native New Yorker and successful business tycoon, Mr. Trump has been able to do more for our country in the past four years than most Presidents were able to accomplish in two full terms. He vowed to “Make America Great Againâ€, and that he most certainly did.
In just his one term, President Trump has many accomplishments:
Trump reformed Obamacare
Trump strengthened US’ alliance with India by sharing US technology. This strategic partnership benefits America’s own military advantage
Trump announced publicly that India is our long time friend
Trump negotiated peace between North and South Korea
Trump had the top 5 ISIS Leaders Captured
Trump moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem
Trump secured the release of American prisoners from North Korea
Trump signed an EO Order Calling for Work Requirements for Welfare Programs
Trump nominated the first female as head of the CIA
Trump set a record for lifetime appointed judges in 2017
Trump imposed American sanctions on 52 People and Entities for Abuse and Corruption
Trump signed a $700 billion defense bill, giving troops the largest pay raise in 7 years
Trump passed sweeping tax reform - 20% corporate rate, the largest in 31 years
Trump’s economy saw business investments up by 39 Percent Due to Tax Cuts
Trump reduced the unemployment rate for the first time in 40 years
Trump’s economy grew at 5.4% rate in the first quarter of his presidency
Trump’s economy saw the U.S. Oil Production top 10 Million barrels daily, first time since 1970!
Trump decreased the debt to GDP ratio – first time in over 50 years!
Trump’s America has gas prices at a 12-year low
Trump suspended $2 billion in security assistance to Pakistan
Trump increased protections for American intellectual property from China, potentially saving billions of dollars and millions of jobs
And more recently Trump helped the lower-income people and small businesses with stimulus packages during this COVID-2020.
Trump just signed an Executive order not to pay the taxes right away.
Trump’s supporters are extraordinarily proud of the job President Trump has done so far. Donald J. Trump has achieved more in his first year than the Obama administration did in 8 years, despite the Democratic obstructionists he’s had to deal with in Congress.
President Trump’s objections to “Radical Islam†made me support him combating terror across the globe. Even though the misconception exist, that Trump is anti-Islam unconditionally. As an Indian-American myself, I understand more than most the importance of, I know that Trump is solely against radical Islam that created a breeding ground for terrorist activities that harm America’s interests and its people. After all, doesn’t it sound just right that after the 9/11 attack on American soil, all the officials and the American people are being very conscious on terror attacks? Trump doesn't see Christians, Muslims, Jewish, Hindus, or Buddhists differently. America shares the same right for all and every religion, and that exactly is the basic tenet on which US was founded by its founding fathers. For all the flack that Trump gets from Muslims in the United States, it’s very important and ironic to note that Muslims in the United States have more protection and rights than they do in many other Muslim-majority countries.
As a tax practitioner in NYC for the past 25+ years, I like the way he handled the changes in the tax code for both corporate and personal taxes and also the way he handled the US-China tariff negotiations and free trade agreements. For years, and through multiple presidential administrations — including those of Clinton, Bush and Obama — the United States naively looked the other way while China cheated its way to gain an unfair advantage in the international trade market. It took a long time to get to this point, and the damage cannot be reversed overnight. But with President Donald Trump's long-term approach to trade policy, the United States is in a good position to make up for the misguided policies of the past, which resulted in millions of lost jobs and thousands of shuttered factories.
I was skeptical of how Trump was going to navigate foreign policy with Asia, especially with countries that have about 1.4 billion people. The relationship between the two largest democracies, India and the US, was highly questionable. India has always wanted to maintain a good relationship with its neighboring countries, including Pakistan and China. However, due to unprovoked terrorist attacks by Pakistan and cross-border attacks from China, tensions remained heightened. Trump informed both India and China that the United States is ready, willing, and able to mediate or arbitrate their now raging border disputes.
While America is struggling to regain its economic footing, it has become more obvious than ever before that Joe Biden is not up for the job. Unemployment will not be reduced, and our GDP will fall to all-time low. Americans should think long and hard before they mark the "D" for president because this country will be far worse off with Joe Biden as president. The opposition camp lead by Joe Biden doesn’t have any vision for America or foreign policies. His cheap political tactics serve no other purpose than to gain a few independent votes. If the opportunity presented itself, I would simply tell Mr. Biden not to waste my time or the time of my fellow Americans. Being a patriotic Indian-American, I would definitely like to vote for Kamala Akka (“Akka†is the Tamil word for older sister), as the Vice President of United States and simultaneously vote for Trump for our upcoming election. Since it is not possible, I would vote for a leader who has a vision for a bigger picture for America. I would much rather consider someone with more energy to make America Great by voting for Trump to be back in the Whitehouse.
In God and Trump I trust. May God bless the United States of America!!!
