Josh celebrates 2nd anniversary with new campaign for creators
New Delhi, Sep 1
India's fastest growing and most engaged short-video app, Josh on Thursday announced that it is celebrating its second anniversary by unveiling its latest digital campaign and recognising the contribution of the diverse creator community on the app.
The company said that the new campaign brings out the passion of Josh creators and serves as an ode to the unique talents of the community.
"Josh belongs to its creators -- they literally make us the success we are. While this campaign announces two years of Josh, it's actually a tribute to every creator. It is their birthday as much as it is ours," Samir Vora, Chief Marketing Officer, VerSe Innovation, said in a statement.
"Creators have strived to bring quality content to their audiences and we celebrate the diversity of our creator ecosystem. We look forward to another year of redefining the space of content creation and bringing bigger and better experiences to our audience," Vora added. The campaign film brings together diverse creators -- from a beauty influencer to a fitness enthusiast -- who have entertained and engaged the country with their content.
The campaign conceptualised and executed by What's Your Problem -- A Wondrlab company, pays tribute to all the creators who make the app what it is.
"We wanted the film to look as stylish and cool as the content these creators make. At the same time, it was important that the film looked real, hence we shot with real creators at real locations. Yash Danak, the director, brought an amazing energy to the film, with interesting camera movements, sharp editing and buzzy music," said Amit Akali, co-founder and CCO, Wondrlab.
Over the last two years, Josh has strengthened its creator community and currently boasts of 1000+ best creators on the platform. Josh believes in creating opportunities and building avenues for a young India to create content that celebrates and inspires the youth.
As part of the anniversary celebration, Josh has also launched #DOUBLEDHAMAKA challenge, which runs till September 3, inviting users to create videos by teaming up into pairs.
