New York's Indian Consulate hosted the dance play Ramleela.

A full crowd watched the complex and well-choreographed production of the Ramleela epic dance-drama at the Indian Consulate in New York.

The renowned Navrang Dance Academy put on what the Indian Consulate called a "mesmerizng" performance. "The story of Lord Ram's heroic battle against evil "inspires us eternally to conduct lives based on the ideals of Dharma, righteousness, courage and integrity," the Consulate stated on its X account, which was previously known as Twitter.

Varsha Naik founded Navrang Dance Academy in South Plainfield, New Jersey, and it calls itself "a place where people create, discover and grow." The artistic qualities of the team were on full show in the choreography and production of the mega-performance of the dance-drama Ramleela, from mastering numerous dance styles to getting the expressions right.
