U.S.: Ohio shooting leaves 10 people injured

Sunday morning in Columbus, Ohio, a shooting incident occurred, injuring at least ten persons. The city's police arrived at the scene of the shooting in the Short North neighbourhood at 2:28 in the morning. Six bodies were discovered at the scene by the police. According to USA Today, which cited a news release from the Columbus Police Department, they later learned that four additional individuals were sent to hospitals. Three separate hospitals were providing care to the wounded. The individual who was injured is reportedly in severe condition, according to USA Today, which cited NBC4. The news announcement states that everyone who was hurt should be able to survive. Two minors and several adults were among the victims, according to USA Today's citation of the Columbus Dispatch.

A car that the police suspect was involved in the shooting is currently being sought after. Two phone lines have been provided by the police for anyone with information on the shooting. Ten people were shot this morning in the 1100 block of N. High St., and the Columbus Division of Police asked for the public's assistance in locating a car in an X post. The car is supposedly a white Honda Civic with four doors and window tint.

Police in Louisville, Kentucky, reported one fatality and seven injuries from gunfire outside a nightclub on Saturday.The Louisville Police Metro Department said that at 12:47 am, first responders arrived at the scene outside H20 Lounge and discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the casualties was later determined to be a male.The second individual was rushed to the hospital with serious, maybe fatal injuries, according to the police. Medical personnel later announced that six more casualties, all adults, sought treatment at local hospitals following the incident.

Aaron Ellis, a police department public relations officer, confirmed that all six individuals were shot. Officers stated, "Those injuries are believed to be non-life threatening." It is unknown how many individuals fired fire or what triggered the shooting, and the authorities have not provided any details regarding the culprit."The relationship of the victims, if any, is not known at this time," the police stated, affirming that the incident is still being investigated.
