June 27 :
Tragically, a 59-year-old man named Hemant Mistry lost his life in Grove, Oklahoma on June 22 after being punched by an unknown individual. According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, Mistry, the general manager of a nearby motel, was pronounced dead after being brought to a hospital after being discovered unresponsive. Disputes broke out after Mistry demanded that 41-year-old Richard Lewis vacate the motel premises. Lewis then knocked Mistry to the floor with a punch. Whether or not a verbal altercation preceded the physical assault is unknown.

The police have stated that they are still investigating the incident, and video of the assault has since gone viral on social media.
Subsequently, police apprehended Lewis in a motel on the 1900 block of South Meridian Avenue. The Oklahoma City Police Department stated that the inquiry is still in its early stages.

His two children and wife Gitanjali will carry on his legacy. Many have expressed their sorrow on Gitanjali Mistry's Facebook page. Kunal, their son, put a touching remark on his Facebook page as well.

A change has occurred in his life, and he expressed this in writing. "You departed from us at an ungodly hour," he went on to say. "You were our giver. You put in a lot of time and effort to make sure we had the greatest life. Everyone around you benefited from your selflessness. It was inspiring to see how committed you were to both your family and your career. Being "half the man" his father was was his greatest aspiration.

No need to be concerned about mom, shivu, and Yash; I've got them, and I will always have them, just like you did. Please keep an eye on us, strengthen me, and lead me as I go through this road. I adore you, father. "My angel, rest in peace," he whispered. Mistry is originally from the Gujarati town of Bilimor. He spearheaded fundraising efforts for the Gujarati Samaj of Oklahoma Inc., an organization in which he was actively involved.
