July 27 :
The White House said on July 25 that President Joe Biden will still be attending the QUAD countries' annual leadership summit in India.
During a press briefing, White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby assured reporters that there would be a Quad leader summit this year, but that no specific date has been set as of yet.

An effort to promote a small but successful Indo-Pacific region was initiated by the QUAD, which consists of the United States, India, Japan, and Australia. In 2020, during his first 100 days in office, Biden organized a virtual conference of the QUAD nations' leaders. India is slated to host this year's QUAD summit, which has been held annually since then.

Kirby brought attention to the fact that now that Biden is not seeking re-election, new chances may present themselves on his schedule. Our group is currently investigating potential avenues for furthering his foreign policy goals and domestic and international national security initiatives. Stay tuned, however I don't have anything scheduled at the moment to discuss, he added.

Despite the many obstacles still standing in the way, Kirby expressed optimism about potential chances that the president may seek out. Listen, we still have climate change, the war in Gaza, and the conflict in Ukraine. There is still a highly agitated Indo-Pacific region. The list might go on forever. "The national security team has a lot of things they need to keep working on," he stated when asked about the ongoing tasks.
