July 27:
In Florida, former president Trump intensified his assaults on Vice President Kamala Harris, the probable Democratic candidate for US president, in front of a conservative audience, asserting that she is anti-Semitic and anti-Israel. Trump took issue with Harris' decision not to attend the recent speech given by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Congress. He made the accusation that Harris did not like Jews and did not support Israel, referring to Harris's Jewish spouse, Doug Emhoff. At Friday's Believers' Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump addressed the crowd at Turning Point USA and said, "Does everyone here understand the radical left ideology Kamala supports is really militantly hostile towards Americans of faith?"

The president slammed Harris, calling her "the most incompetent, unpopular and far-left vice president in American history." A "bum" was another derogatory term used by the Republican nominated Harris. Adding, "Three weeks ago, she was a bum," Trump continued. "She was a bum, a failed vice president." It didn't take long for Kamala Harris's campaign to address "Trump's strange speech." "Donald Trump... insulted the faith of Jewish and Catholic Americans, lied about the election (again)... bragged about repealing Roe, proposed cutting billions in education funding, announced he would appoint more extremist judges, revealed he planned to fill a second Trump term with more criminals like himself, attacked lawful voting," according to a statement released by her campaign.

What criminal Donald Trump has to offer is angry, strange, and retrograde thinking; America is capable of better. According to a statement made by James Singer, a campaign spokesperson for Kamala Harris, "Vice President Harris offers a vision for America's future focused on freedom, opportunity, and security" (Friday night).

In his speech in Florida, Trump sought to appeal to conservatives by assuring them that "appoint rock solid conservative judges who will protect religious liberty" would be appointed in his second term.

Additionally, he made an announcement stating that he "just took off the last bandage" following his nearly two-week-old assassination attempt. Firefighter Corey Comperatore was killed that day when struck by gunfire in Butler, Pennsylvania. On July 13, Trump plans to return to the place of the attempt on his life and throw a "big and beautiful" event in memory to Comperatore.

"We want to thank each and every one of the believers in this room for your prayers and your incredible support, I really did appreciate it," stated President Trump during the ceremony. Earlier this month, the FBI acknowledged that Trump had been shot during an assassination attempt. Trump then claimed to have "accepted" a "apology" from the bureau. On July 13, during a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump was shot in the ear, according to the FBI.

"What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject's rifle," the FBI said in a press release.
