August 17 :
The relatives of Eerukonda Rajesh, a Telangana student who studied in the United States, are requesting help from the federal and state governments in order to return his body. Because of financial difficulties, Rajesh's family from Atmakur village in Warangal district requested the support.

Rajesh's dad had died not long ago. He was unable to pay his respects at his father's funeral because of money problems. In order to give Rajesh a proper burial, his family is pleading with the governments of the world to assist them in returning his remains to India.

"My son Rajesh went to America for higher studies in 2016," Lela, the deceased's mother, informed ANI. We borrowed money to help pay for his schooling. The details of his death are still a mystery to us. He and I had our last conversation on August 10. My family and I are at a loss as to how to return my son Rajesh's body from the United States, and I respectfully beseech the governments of Telangana and the federal government to lend a hand as quickly as possible.

According to Rama Devi's sister, who spoked, Rajesh had avoided going to India for the last six years due to money problems. Before he went to the United States in 2016 to get his Master of Science degree in pharmacy, my brother Eerukonda Rajesh earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree here. After a year, he went back to India, but he only stayed for a month before returning to the US. We have been pressing him for an update on his plans to return to India for the last six years, but he has consistently claimed to be in a precarious financial position and unable to do so. My husband had to officiate the burial as Rajesh was unable to make it ten months ago when our father died away owing to financial difficulties. On August 15, his acquaintance informed us of my brother's passing. I respectfully beg the federal government and the state of Telangana to help bring my brother's remains back to India because we just do not have the means to do so.

Additionally, Wangala Buchi Reddy pleaded with the government to assist in retrieving Rajesh's remains while speaking to ANI.

Reddy introduced himself as a former police constable hailing from the village of Atmakur. A young man from our community named Eerukonda Rajesh left for college in the United States nine years ago. His death four days ago was news that we were deeply grieved to hear. Our villagers are pleading with the governments of Telangana and Central India to help repatriate his body because he came from a humble household. Sad to say, Rajesh's father passed away not long ago, and he was broke to the point where he couldn't even afford to fly home to be there for the funeral.
