August 21:
At a campaign event in Michigan, former US President and Republican presidential candidate for 2024 Donald Trump addressed voters on immigration, border security, and law enforcement while the Democratic Party was holding its national convention in Chicago.

After the jet touched down in Michigan, a Trump campaign spokesman posted photos of the former president stepping out of the plane on social media. As he approached his waiting car, he could be seen enthusiastically pumping his fists. Interestingly, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung's video broadcast on the X platform featured the Beyonce song "Freedom" as the soundtrack. This song is commonly used by Vice President Kamala Harris's team.

Cheung posted on X, "Touchdown in Michigan!! @realDonaldTrump." When asked to react about the footage by the US newspaper The Hill, Cheung shouted out "Freedom, freedom!" the response he gave.

The Harris presidential campaign may utilize Beyoncé's "Freedom" as their campaign theme, according to CNN. Beyoncé is notoriously picky about the rules surrounding her music.

After announcing her presidential campaign last month, Harris's first ad included the pop star's song. On Monday (local time), the Democrats also debuted a new commercial during the opening day of the National Convention. The commercial featured a cappella rendition of "Freedom." This track is featured on the critically acclaimed 2016 album "Lemonade" by the Grammy Award–winning singer, and it features the rapper Kendrick Lamar.

In preparation for the presidential election on November 5, Democrats are gathering in Chicago to officially select Vice President Harris as their candidate.

According to the Democratic presidential candidate, "[Harris] is, as you know, the most radical left person ever considered for a high office, certainly for the office of president." This statement was made during a speech she gave in Howell on Tuesday (local time). Trump remarked, as reported by CBS News, that while most people are unaware of the real Kamala, he and others who follow his lead are well aware of her. According to Trump, who was quoted by the US media outlet, "Kamala Harris will deliver crime, chaos, destruction and death." He continued by saying, "She's so far left that nobody can imagine, and her real thoughts are there."
