Before Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz had their first joint interview, the Trump campaign poked fun at Harris, saying that Harris is too nervous to do interviews alone. According to The Hill, Harris approved of a joint interview with Walz, her election running mate. Thursday marks the first time Harris and Minnesota Governor Walz will be interviewed together by CNN. The interview will be hosted by CNN's Dana Bash and is scheduled to air at 9 pm EDT.
"The scheduling of Kamala's first interview for the Thursday night preceding Labor Day weekend is not a coincidence," the Trump War Room stated, sharing an X post. They are already rooting for it to be canceled before it has even aired.
It went on to say that Harris is interview nervous. "Kamala is clearly scared to do an interview on her own and it's pre-taped so they can clean it up," according to the post.
According to an additional post from the Trump War Room, the Vice President has mustered up the nerve to consent to a joint interview. "Last night, CNN announced that Kamala has mustered up the courage to sit for a *joint* interview -- after 39 days of hiding out from reporters," the news outlet reported.
It was suggested in multiple posts that CNN presenter Dana Bash should ask Kamala Harris ten questions during their joint interview. Some of these questions include: "Why haven't you, Kamala Harris, reduced prices for Americans in the three and a half years that you have been in office if you are capable of doing so?" A "Day One priority" for you as an elected official would be to make sure people could afford a home. Just why isn't it a top aim right now? You were a co-sponsor of the Green New Deal and Medicare-for-All. Keep on supporting these massive government takeovers of the US economy that are costing trillions of dollars; You frequently mention the word "freedom." How about the liberties of Jocelyn Nungaray, Laken Riley, and Rachel Morin? The illegal immigrants who entered the country under your administration are responsible for the deaths of these women; President Trump did not require a "border bill" to ensure the safety of the border. Why did you back Trump's executive orders to suspend the building of the wall and deportations that purposefully left the border unguarded? Trump is the first president in decades to refrain from starting new wars. The Middle East and Europe are seeing an escalation of conflicts while you are in charge. So why did you keep Joe Biden's mental decline a secret from the American people? You backed the Defund the Police campaign and have often stated that more police does not equal more safety. Since you have consistently advocated for the elimination of cash bail, I fail to understand why you would desire fewer police personnel. Why do you persist in endorsing such a radical ideology? Additionally, you have dispatched unnamed advisers to assert that you have renounced the extremely liberal stances that you have maintained for many years.
Harris was nominated as the Democratic candidate following President Joe Biden's withdrawal from the race due to growing worries about his age, especially following his underwhelming performance in the June debate with Donald Trump.
At the age of59, Harris would make history if she were to become the first female president of the United States. In the history of the United States, no major political party has ever nominated a female candidate for president before the vice president.
