CM Stalin Seeks Support for Tamil Nadu's Prosperity During US Visit

San Francisco, August 29: 
The chief minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin, is currently in the US on an official visit with the goal of attracting investments and assistance that will help the state thrive.

The purpose of Stalin's tour is to solicit investments from prominent American businesses for the benefit of the state. Writing on X, he stated, "In the USA--the land of opportunities, seeking support for the prosperity of Tamil Nadu."

Stalin gave a press conference on Tuesday before boarding a plane out of Chennai Airport.

A video was shared by the official DMK Twitter, with the caption reading, “Hon'ble Chief Minister Mr. M K Stalin met and interviewed the media at the Chennai airport before his official visit to the United States.” A group including Sridhar Babu Duddilla, the state minister for IT and industries, and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy paid a visit to Apple's headquarters in California on August 9.

While in town, the chief minister of Telangana met with high-ranking Apple officials from the company's healthcare, public policy, and manufacturing departments.

"It was an incredible experience to tour Apple Park in Cupertino, California, the home of Apple Inc. According to CM Reddy's post on X, the 175-acre campus was the perfect spot to showcase Hyderabad and Telangana as top investment destinations in several sectors.

"My team, including my minister colleague @OffDSB, and senior officials, and I, highlighted the new Electronics park, Skills University, AI city, Future City and other game-changing initiatives to the senior Apple Executives looking after manufacturing, public policy and Apple healthcare divisions," said the minister.

In addition, the chief minister is certain that the constructive conversations would result in advantageous outcomes for Telangana and Hyderabad, establishing the state as a prime location for investment across several industries. The delegation led by Revanth Reddy made stops in Texas, Washington, DC, Dallas, and New Jersey before reaching California.
