US: CENTCOM Eliminates Two Missile Systems in Yemen
Washington DC,September 3:
A statement from CENTCOM stated that USCENTCOM forces have destroyed two missile systems in an area of Yemen held by the Houthis. According to the statement, CENTCOM has concluded that these systems pose a serious danger to US and coalition personnel, as well as commerce vessels in the area.
U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) forces effectively destroyed two missile systems in a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen in the past 24 hours, according to an update posted on X by CENTCOM. U.S. and coalition soldiers, as well as merchant ships in the area, were found to be in grave danger from these systems. The United States, coalition, and commerce vessels have taken these measures to ensure the safety of international waterways while also protecting the freedom of navigation.
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported earlier today that they had caught an ISIS leader who had assisted fellow terrorists in escaping from a Syrian prison center.
An official announcement said that US forces, in conjunction with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), had apprehended ISIS leader Khaled Ahmed al-Danda, who had escaped from the Raqqah Detention Facility in Syria and was believed to be aiding ISIS soldiers.
"A literal and metaphorical 'ISIS Army' in detention," stated General Michael Erik Kurilla, Commander of US Central Command, referring to the more than nine thousand ISIS captives still held in more than twenty SDF detention centers in Syria.
According to Gen. Kurilla, the region and the world would be in grave danger if a significant number of ISIS members were to escape. "We will continue to work with the international community to repatriate these ISIS fighters to their countries of origin for final adjudication," according to him.
The Raqqah Detention Facility was breached on August 29 by five foreign terrorist fighters detained by ISIS: two from Russia, two from Afghanistan, and one from Libya. The Russian Imam Abdulwahed Akhwan and the Libyan Muhammad Noh Muhammad were both recaptured by the SDF after escaping.
