Trump Declares No Fourth Presidential Run if He Loses 2024 Election
September 23 :
"That will be it" was the Republican candidate's statement in an interview released on September 22nd in which he announced his intention to not run for president again after losing the election on November 5th.
The 78-year-old ex-president said on Sharyl Attkisson's "Full Measure" program, "No, I don't," when asked if he plans to run for president again in four years if his third consecutive effort fails. That, I believe, will be the end of it. It is completely invisible to me. My wish is that everything works out.
Democratic U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris is running a tight fight against Republican Donald Trump. surveys suggest that the two candidates are tied in crucial swing states that will likely decide the outcome, but Harris has started to gain ground in national surveys as well.
On the same day he was elected in 2017, Trump began his first reelection campaign for the 2020 election. In November 2022, he declared his latest run for the White House, two years earlier. Trump is facing federal and state criminal charges related to attempts to alter the election results, and he has persisted in falsely attributing his 2020 loss to Democratic candidate Joe Biden on extensive voting fraud. He has framed the indictments as a political attack on him and has denied any wrongdoing; if he loses in 2024, he will embrace more and more gloomy rhetoric.
Trump Media, NFTs, and Trump-branded footwear, coins, and cryptocurrency are just a few of his business endeavors that he has created during his most recent campaign. While she aspires to address issues that affect everyday life, like housing and family budgets, Harris, 59, has framed the contest as a pivotal time for American democracy.
Trump responded, "It would have been easier if I did it... contiguous." when asked whether the four-year pause allowed him gather and decide out who he could trust as allies. "But the benefit is more than anything else, it shows how bad they were," according to him.
Trump told Attkisson at his Florida estate that it was "too early" to negotiate terms for anyone to serve in his administration if he were elected in November.
