PM Modi Meets 'Overseas Friends of BJP' Members During US Visit

In New York, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with members of the USA chapter of the Overseas Friends of the BJP during his three-day visit to the United States.
According to Vijay Chauthaiwale, who is in charge of the foreign affairs department of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who shared this information on his social media account on X, Prime Minister Modi instructed the Overseas Friends of BJP-USA volunteers to disseminate news of the "massive transformation" happening in India.

He gave us pointers on how to disseminate news of the tremendous change happening in India in a way that was both official and uplifting.
On Monday (local time), Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York and departed for India. During his three-day visit, Prime Minister Modi addressed the UN General Assembly (UNGA) at the 'Summit of the Future,' spoke with members of the Indian diaspora in New York at the 'Modi and US' event, and attended the QUAD Leaders' Summit.
During his tour, he also met with the presidents of Ukraine and Palestine, among others, for important bilateral discussions.
The sixth QUAD (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) Leaders' Summit was held in Wilmington, Delaware, on Saturday, the first day of Prime Minister Modi's visit.
On Sunday, the prime minister spoke to members of the Indian diaspora at Nassau Coliseum before returning to New York. At Monday's 79th United Nations General Assembly Summit of the Future, Prime Minister Narendra Modi covered a lot of ground, including the need for responsible and safe technology use and the idea that Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) should serve as an enabler, not an impediment.
