Washington DC,September 26:
While in the US, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE has met with multiple senators. Opportunities to develop UAE-US relations at various levels and other subjects of mutual interest were topics of discussion.

He met separately with Senators Mark Warner (Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence), Markwayne Mullin, Joni Ernst, Tom Cotton, and John Thune. He thanked each senator for their time and spoke about how important Congress has always been in fostering better ties between the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

He made it clear that his visit is part of a larger effort to strengthen ties between the two nations and advance bilateral cooperation for the benefit of both nations. This is especially true in areas like renewable energy, sustainability, climate action, artificial intelligence, renewable trade and investment, and the economy. He emphasized that the United States is still an important partner of the United Arab Emirates and has been a cornerstone of its foreign policy for almost half a century, and that the two nations' relations are built on trust, mutual respect, and shared interests.

In addition, His Highness acknowledged the vital role the United States plays in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East and emphasized the significance of the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) commitment to engaging in communication and consultation with the United States on such matters. He emphasized that the United Arab Emirates will continue to fight extremism, violence, and terrorism, and that it is ready to collaborate with the United States to do so.

With the hope that Congress will play a significant role in advancing these endeavors, His Highness reaffirmed the UAE's unwavering support for US initiatives and the end of the war in Gaza.
