Global Nonprofit DSNDP Volunteers From New Jersey participate in Cleanliness Drive
On September 28th, 2024, New Jersey State residents joined hands as dedicated volunteers of the global non-profit organization Dr. Shri. Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishthan (DSNDP), undertaking a Adopt-A-station cleanup drive in collaboration with the New Jersey Transit Department at the Edison station & it's respective parking lot and Rahway Train Station, NJ.
This cleanliness drive by DSNDP drew 11 volunteers at who collected 11 big size bags of trash resulting in collection of around 165 pounds of waste.
Within New Jersey, as a part of the nationwide cleanliness drive program DSNDP has accomplished 16 cleanliness drives, engaging 376 volunteers who have relentlessly worked for 802 volunteer hours, collected 351 bags of trash, resulting in effective disposal of 5265 pounds of waste in a short time span of only 2 years.
Within the North America continent, DSNDP continues to collaborate with 18 states and 74 cities across the United States for nationwide cleanliness drives including 24 different programs such as Adopt-Highway/Park/Beach/ Street/ River etc. During these cleanliness drives, DSNDP has successfully engaged 2409 volunteers, actively collecting 38550 pounds of trash, resulting in significant cost savings for the government. The organization has received accolades from various state and county governments in the form of 53 certificates and 55 signboards within the nation.
