The people of Virginia's 10th District have placed their faith in me to tackle the most difficult issues and produce tangible achievements in Congress, and for that I am deeply grateful and humbled. Subramanyam expressed his sentiments on X. My residence is this district. it is where my wife Miranda and I got married, and it is also where we are raising our girls. The problems that our town is experiencing hit close to home. Continuing to represent this Washington district is a tremendous honor.
He made history by becoming the first Indian-American to be elected to the House of Representatives and the Senate of Virginia. His previous experience includes working as a tech policy adviser for President Obama. Representative Jennifer Wexton, who was about to retire owing to health concerns, endorsed him and offered her support. Subramanyam was congratulated by Wexton on X, and the former expressed his immense pride in having Suhas as his next congressman and in having him continue to fight for the families affected by #VA10.
