Unqualified individuals who received welfare pensions will be charged 18% interest as penalty. The C&AG's findings revealed that a total of 9,201 individuals, including government employees, pensioners, and temporary workers, had fraudulently received welfare pensions, deceiving the government . 347 individuals are government fraudsters within the corporation limits, with Kozhikode in second place. 169 government fraudsters are within the Kozhikode Corporation limits. There are fewer fraudsters in the corporation area, with only 70 individuals in the Kochi Corporation . Alappuzha Municipality, with 185 government fraudsters, is in the lead in this category. In second place is Thiruvananthapuram Neyyattinkara Municipality with 68 individuals .

Action has been assigned to the Panchayat Director and the Director of Urban Affairs to take further steps. The order was issued by the Additional Chief Secretary.
