Attempt to avoid beggars; shocking information received.

Indore, the cleanest city in the country, is taking strict measures to completely remove beggars from the streets. Strict measures are being initiated in Indore as part of the launch of a central government scheme. The initiative to completely eliminate begging is being carried out with the cooperation of a voluntary organization based in Indore. The organization will provide accommodation for the beggars and empower them to work.

There is a move to file cases against those who give money to beggars. The district administration has clarified that such cases will start being filed from January 1. If anyone is found giving money to beggars, a First Information Report (FIR) will be registered, and an investigation will be initiated against them. An order banning begging in Indore had already been issued earlier. Once, when authorities arrived to rescue children from a begging group, it was found that the group was staying in a hotel.

Meanwhile, Project Officer Dinesh Mishra stated that shocking information was uncovered during the efforts to remove beggars. Many of the beggars own good houses themselves. Some of their children work in banks. Once, 29,000 rupees were found with a beggar. Some of them are people who lend money and collect interest. The central government's scheme includes cities such as Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, and Ahmedabad.
