Wayanad Rehabilitation; two estates under consideration for the township, 1133 houses promised.

Revenue Minister K. Rajan has stated that the list of beneficiaries for the rehabilitation of disaster-affected people in Wayanad will be published soon. The Chief Minister will hold discussions with all those who have promised to provide houses in January. In the list of beneficiaries for rehabilitation, those who were directly affected have been included in the first phase. 15 days will be given to submit complaints regarding the list. Complaints will be examined, and the first phase of rehabilitation proceedings will begin.

"38 agencies have approached the government to provide houses . 1133 houses have been promised . Once confirmation is received about the land for the selected 2 estates, the Chief Minister will hold discussions with the sponsors . Nedumpal and Elstone estates are under consideration.
K. Rajan said that it is expected that central assistance will be received and that the court will continue its humanitarian approach.
