Delhi shivers in cold; hailstorm likely; weather department issues advisory

The Central Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Delhi. The temperature dropped due to heavy rainfall on Friday in Delhi and nearby areas. The maximum temperature today was 15 degrees Celsius. The Central Meteorological Department issued an advisory, highlighting the possibility of hailstorms in the area . Yellow alerts have also been issued for Saturday and Sunday. Due to the rain, traffic was disrupted in various parts of South, Central, and North Delhi.

Heavy rain is likely in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Rajasthan, and Western Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, there is a possibility of hailstorm and lightning in Southeast Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh .
