Renjini RamachandranMT's dream realization 'Randamoozham' will now shine on the silver screen. MT Vasudevan Nair's dream of turning the novel 'Randamoozham' into a movie is set to be fulfilled by his family. As per MT's wish, the film will be made in two parts. The director who will make the film is one who can create it as a pan-Indian movie in multiple languages. MT had completed the screenplay of "Randamoozham" in both Malayalam and English years ago.
Many big companies had approached to turn the screenplay into a movie, but it did not materialize. Although a contract was made with Sreekumar Menon for the production of Randamoozham, the production was delayed, leading to legal proceedings, and Sreekumar Menon withdrew from the contract. MT had wished for director Mani Ratnam to direct Randamoozham. For this, he waited for six months. However, since it was a film that needed to be made on a large canvas, Mani Ratnam later backed out, saying more time was required. It was Mani Ratnam who recommended the current director to MT. Five months ago, this director was supposed to come to Kozhikode to discuss with MT, but it was then that MT was first admitted to the hospital. Later, due to health reasons, the meeting did not take place.
The current director's production company, along with MT's family's company, will jointly produce Randamoozham. The official announcement of the film will take place soon.
