Stalin will inaugurate the Kannadipalam bridge. The bridge connects Vivekananda Rock and the Thiruvalluvar statue in Kanyakumari. The Kannadipalam bridge, being constructed at a cost of 37 crore rupees, has a length of 77 meters and a width of 10 meters.
The Kannadipalam pedestrian bridge has been constructed as part of the Silver Jubilee celebration of the installation of the Thiruvalluvar statue. The bridge has been constructed using the latest technology to withstand coastal erosion and strong sea winds. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the Silver Jubilee celebration of the installation of the Thiruvalluvar statue at a ceremony on the 31st at 9 AM at the Tamil Nadu Guest House. Following that, a cultural conference and poetry session will also take place.
