Aam Aadmi makes a significant announcement. Priests in temples and clergy in gurdwaras will be provided an honorarium. They will receive ₹18,000 per month. The announcement was made by the party's convenor, Arvind Kejriwal.

"Today, I am making an important announcement regarding a scheme. The name of the scheme is 'Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana.' Under this scheme, provisions have been made to provide an honorarium to temple priests and granthis in gurdwaras . An honorarium of approximately ₹18,000 per month will be provided." Priests are a community that carries forward traditions for generations. They have never prioritized their families. Others have also not given them due consideration. This new scheme is for such individuals," Kejriwal said.

After visiting the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place, Delhi, the scheme will be launched," said Kejriwal. The former Delhi Chief Minister announced that registration for the Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana will begin on Tuesday.
