Beyond the Fairytale Controversy: Compensation of ₹5 Crore; Chandramukhi Producers Send Legal Notice to Nayanthara

Nayanthara caught in controversies. Legal troubles one after another. Reports suggest that the producers of the movie Chandramukhi have sent a notice to Nayanthara demanding a compensation of ₹5 crore. The 2005 film Chandramukhi, starring Rajinikanth, was produced by Sivaji Productions. In the wedding documentary Beyond the Fairytale, Nayanthara had used behind-the-scenes footage from Chandramukhi. The documentary was released on November 18.

Earlier, Dhanush had filed a case in court for copyright infringement. His company demanded compensation for using behind-the-scenes footage from the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan without permission. However, Nayanthara’s post criticizing Dhanush for not providing the NOC (No Objection Certificate) to include the footage had sparked major controversies.
