Tragic End for Two Young Men Who Left Chickpeas to Cook Overnight on Gas Stove . The incident took place in Noida. The youths had left chickpeas to boil on the gas stove overnight to prepare Chole Bhature the next day. Both of them ran a food outlet selling Chole Bhature and Kulche. The deceased have been identified as Upendra (22) and Shivam (23). The tragic incident occurred in Basai village in Sector 70.

After placing the chickpeas on the gas stove to boil, both of them forgot to turn off the stove and went to sleep. As a result, the room filled with smoke. Since the room's door was closed, the oxygen level inside also decreased. This led to the accumulation of carbon monoxide inside the room. Hours later, the neighbors noticed smoke coming from the room and broke down the door to enter. Though the young men were rushed to the hospital, their lives could not be saved. ACP Rajeev Gupta stated that inhaling the toxic fumes was the cause of their death.
